SUNBIRD EDUCATION CENTRE Education Consultant vicki@sunbirdeducation.com.au Vicki has a wealth of experience in teaching, and is particularly passionate about literacy. She is currently undertaking study in the area of children with learning disabilities, in particular Dyslexia. At this stage in her 31 years of teaching, she is relishing the opportunities that working with children in a one on one capacity offer. Vicki’s mantra:‘If children don’t learn the way we teach, we must teach them the way they learn.’ Education Consultant julie@sunbirdeducation.com.au Julie’s passions are mathematics, Australian history and politics. She loves to think of different ways to change students’ perceptions about maths. The best part of her workday is time spent developing new games and resources to engage kids in mathematics and reinforce the basics.  She enjoys sharing innovative teaching ideas and strategies with workshop participants.
